A specialist SEND school is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

All successful applicants will be required to attend a school-based interview and trial day before the summer holidays to secure their September placement.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting learning and development
* Assisting with personal care
* Supporting sensory and communication activities
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Hours:
* Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
* Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Essential Requirements:
* Compassionate and patient approach
* Full-time applicants only
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply and pay for one
* Ability to provide two recent professional references
* Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
