We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who can progress in Overhead Line (OHL) design to provide support to projects across Jacobs’ markets. This includes work on transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, energy storage systems, inertia systems, wind farms and advanced facilities for mission critical industries in the technology and process sectors.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline and Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution or working towards chartered status
* Experience within an electrical discipline and experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects with tier 1 & 2 contractors
* Relevant, professional experience in HV and LV experience 33kV - 400kV
* Experience preparing design calculations, reports, and detailed drawings. CAD (AutoCAD or Microstation) preferred but not essential.
