Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
5. Monitor and manage cost control measures across departments.
6. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
7. Maintain and improve financial systems and processes within the organisation.
8. Collaborate with operational teams to analyse and interpret financial data.
9. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
10. Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within the business.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A recognised qualification in accounting such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. (They will consider studiers and PQ)
12. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
13. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
15. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
16. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
