What is great about the role? Play a key role in keeping Pobl tenants safe in their homes. Work closely with the Property Safety Lead and Fire Safety Surveyors. Coordinate inspection schedules and fire safety programmes. Monitor contractor performance and track remedial actions. Keep records and reports up to date to support compliance. Be the go to contact for tenants and contractors, helping arrange access and resolve queries. Where does the role fit in? You’ll help manage our fire safety inspection and testing programmes- from fire alarms and emergency lighting to fire risk assessments. You’ll oversee admin processes, keep compliance records accurate, and support effective follow-up on remedial work. Your coordination helps us stay safe, efficient, and tenant focused. What skills and experience do you need? To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid background in administration, ideally within a customer-focused or property related environment. You’re someone who knows how to keep things organised, follow procedures, and stay on top of the detail. You’ll be confident using IT – especially Microsoft Office – and able to pick up new systems with ease. Communication is key in this role, so you’ll need to be clear, professional and approachable when working with a range of teams, contractors and other stakeholders. You’ll be confident juggling a range of admin tasks – from scheduling appointments and raising orders to updating systems and supporting meetings. A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations is essential, along with some knowledge of how buildings are managed and maintained. If you’re familiar with fire safety requirements and technical building terminology – that’s a real plus. You’ll also need to be comfortable working with data, keeping accurate records, and supporting compliance across our assets. A full driving licence is essential for this role. And if you hold a Level 3 Award in Fire Safety Management, that’s even better – but if not, we can support the right person to achieve it. What are the pay and benefits? The salary for this role is £29,117 for a 37 hour full time permanent position Flexible working policies – we are hybrid working. For this role you will be out and about within our communities, as well as attending our offices in Swansea or Newport as and when required.
