Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality and compliance? We are seeking an Auditor to join our dynamic Field Team. In this role, you’ll work with SMEs and large organisations, performing supplier audits to ensure management systems meet the highest standards.

About the Role:
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits under the guidance of the Director – Employed Services, collaborating with the Compliance Team to meet UKAS certification standards. Your analytical reports will provide valuable insights, summarising audit results and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct supplier audits for a range of organisations, ensuring management systems align with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
* Observe or conduct audits under supervision until full competency is achieved.
* Evaluate management systems for effectiveness and identify potential areas for improvement.
* Plan and execute audits efficiently, including opening and closing meetings.
* Prepare detailed and accurate audit reports, communicating findings to stakeholders.
* Resolve conflicts effectively and maintain strong communication with auditees.
About You:
You are highly organised, analytical, and possess exceptional communication skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities effectively, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements:
* Strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience, particularly within the construction industry or civil engineering (e.g. Project/Site Manager or on tools experience, anything associated with highways).
* Background in minimum internal audits or control testing, risk identification, or audit analysis.
* Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage extensive travel commitments.
* Methodical approach with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Desirable Requirements:
* A Degree/BA or equivalent qualification or experience.
* IRCA training.
* Professional certifications such as Lead External Auditor (ISO 9001, 14001).
* Management experience in a commercial industry.
