North Lanarkshire Council in partnership with Sportscotland are looking to appoint a Senior Sports Development Officer for Club Development. Reporting to the Sport Development & Participation Manager, you will focus on making clubs stronger, sustainable, safe and inclusive organisations. Achieved by building strong relationships with club leaders and providing bespoke developmental support to identified clubs.
You will have extensive experience of supporting clubs and community organisations to develop and connect, demonstrating a good knowledge of local and national priorities in education, sport and health. You will hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
This position is temporary for a period of 23 months.
