What You’ll be Doing
* Responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the Merchandising department.
* Forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets.
* Monitoring department performance, identifying opportunities, and potential risks/losses.
* Collaborating with Buying teams to plan ranges effectively.
* Participating in trade meetings with Heads and Directors.
* Evaluating department operations, focusing on lead times and overall performance.
* Developing and managing Merchandising Administrators to foster their growth.
* Managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans.
* Driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies to support our culture.
Qualifications
Who We’d Like to Meet...
* Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a fashion retail business.
* Experience in planning weekly sales, stock, and intake management.
* Confidence to manage and own a category, including participating in weekly trade meetings.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally at all levels.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience managing and developing team members (desirable).
* Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of reporting tools is a plus.
* A passion for online retail and love for ASOS.com!
