Job Description:
Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for providing outstanding care? We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead Brunswick House, a well-established Buckland Care home with an excellent reputation and a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC.
In this rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do—overseeing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care, supporting and developing your team, and making sure the home runs smoothly both operationally and financially. Your leadership will truly make a difference in the lives of our residents and staff every single day.
If you’re experienced, well-organised, and driven by care, we’d love to hear from you.
ABOUT YOU:
* Qualifications: Ideally, you’ll have NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (but don’t worry if not—we can support you to achieve this).
* Experience: At least 5 years in the care sector, including time as a Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential or nursing home setting.
* Team Leadership: You know how to bring out the best in people—your team will look to you for guidance, support, and motivation.
* Positive and Proactive: You think ahead, solve problems calmly, and know how to run a happy, high-quality care environment.
* Great Communicator: Friendly, clear, and approachable—you’ll be confident working with residents, families, staff, and professionals alike.
* Organised and Efficient: You’re confident managing paperwork, policies, and processes without losing sight of the people at the heart of it all.
* Location: we are looking for someone within 30 minutes drive of the care home.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
At Buckland Care, we truly value our team and strive to create a positive, rewarding working environment. Here are just some of the benefits you’ll enjoy as part of our close-knit team:
* Generous Annual Leave: 25 days of holiday, plus an extra paid day off to celebrate your birthday.
* Quarterly Bonus Scheme: Enjoy a performance-based bonus every quarter, linked to the success of the home.
* Annual Pay Reviews: Your hard work won’t go unnoticed—we review pay every year.
* Training & Qualifications: We fully support and fund when required RQF qualifications and provide free, paid training to help you grow.
* Career Progression: We’re committed to helping you grow in your role and take the next step in your care career.
* Free Meals: Enjoy fresh hot meals when working long shifts.
* Free On-Site Parking: No stress about parking—we’ve got you covered.
* Warm & Homely Work Environment: Our homes are mostly non-purpose built, offering a cosy, family-style atmosphere.
* Refer-a-Friend Bonus: Earn a reward when you bring a friend into the team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanents
