Job Description
3. Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
4. Oversee statutory reporting, regulatory compliance and audit preparation
5. Manage organisational risk, reserves, and investment portfolio
6. Provide financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making
7. Build strong relationships with external advisers, auditors and banking partners
8. Ensure high standards of financial governance, control, and accountability
9. Support senior leaders and elected governance with timely, accurate reporting
The Successful Applicant
10. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
11. Proven experience in senior finance roles, ideally within membership, public or voluntary sector settings
12. Strong technical expertise in financial planning, reporting and compliance
13. Comfortable operating within a governance-led environment
14. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
15. Commercially astute, with integrity, resilience and a collaborative approach
