Key Responsibilities:
* Efficient Deliveries to Building Sites and Homes:
* As an integral part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders to various locations, including building sites and residential homes. Your role will demand a positive ‘can do’ attitude to overcome any challenges encountered on the road.
* Operation of Crane Vehicles:
You will drive a variety of vehicles, including crane vehicles, drawbar, and rigid crane vehicles. It is essential to perform daily cleaning and maintenance checks, embodying the professionalism and standards that Marshalls is known for.
* Customer-Centric Approach:
Customers are at the heart of everything you do. Ensuring high-level health and safety standards and complying with specific customer requirements is critical to delivering excellent service. Being punctual is key to the role, as timely deliveries are crucial. You will be offered various day or night shifts, with opportunities for overtime and occasional weekend work.
Ideal Candidate:
* Valid C+E Class 1 Licence:
* You must possess a valid C+E Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points.
* Essential Qualifications:
A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are mandatory for this role.
* Experience in Cranes/Drawbars:
While experience with cranes and drawbars is desirable, training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience with HIAB, Palfinger roll loader/fixed mounted cranes, and brick grab would be advantageous. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will be representing Marshalls in all interactions. Strong timekeeping skills and the ability to work unsupervised are vital. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, alongside a good geographical knowledge, is required.
