They are now looking to grow their team through the hire of a Principal Project Engineer.
Their intelligent energy management system is designed to optimise energy usage, particularly in behind-the-meter applications. Backed by extensive research and development, these smart, sustainable solutions have demonstrated real-world effectiveness and can be deployed quickly and cost-efficiently.

Role: Principal Project Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £90,000–£110,000
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with all technical and regulatory requirements.
Technical Engineering: Lead the development of electrical designs and schematics, define system components, and review work completed by suppliers and contractors.
System Integration: Configure and optimise battery storage, EV charging, and renewable energy systems within an intelligent management platform.
Client & Partner Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and third-party installers, providing guidance to support seamless project delivery.
Required Experience
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS), alongside 10+ years in electrical engineering.
Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and supervisory control systems.
Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
Familiarity with grid codes, regulatory frameworks, and best practices for distributed energy resources (DER) and BESS projects.
