Description
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies, resolving issues safely and within SLA targets across systems such as power supplies, lighting, alarms, motors, BMS controls and portable appliances.
Carry out planned maintenance, statutory testing and reactive repairs, ensuring compliance with inspection requirements including electrical testing, emergency lighting, fire alarms and PAT.
Diagnose faults, assess job feasibility, and determine required resources, escalating to the Electrical Supervisor when needed.
Investigate complex or unidentified issues, recommending solutions or identifying when specialist support is required.
Support installation, refurbishment and new project work, advising on new equipment and taking a lead role in minor power system installations.

Recognised electrical apprenticeship or substantial experience across commercial, industrial and domestic settings.
NVQ Level 3 plus relevant City & Guilds qualifications (18th Edition, Inspection & Testing).
Strong Health & Safety knowledge (IOSH or equivalent).
Proven ability to install, maintain and test electrical systems to BS7671 standards.
Solid understanding of statutory electrical compliance.
Able to plan and prioritise workload independently and meet SLAs.
Experience managing high volumes of reactive maintenance.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and escalate issues.
Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
Basic IT and record‑keeping ability.
Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
Full, clean UK or EU driving licence.
Job Offer
