Role: Fire Engineer
Salary:£30,000-£40,000 (OTE £45,000)
Location: Cannock/ Staffordshire Area
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Fire Alarm & Small Works Engineer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and minor works associated with a range of fire detection and life safety systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS5839 standards as a Fire Alarm and Small Works engineer.
Perform minor repairs and system modifications, including panel replacements and detector installations.
Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently and professionally.
Complete commissioning and handover documentation accurately.
Liaise with clients, site managers, and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and company standards as a Fire and Small Works engineer Skills & Experience
Proven experience working with fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).
Knowledge of key manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, or Apollo.
Understanding of BS5839 and general fire industry best practices.
Full UK driving licence.
FIA training or equivalent qualifications (advantageous).
