A Day in the Life of a Catering Assistant
* Serve food and beverages to customers following portioning and presentation standards
* Prepare cold food and made-to-order items including hot sandwiches
* Take payments and maintain financial records
* Restock and display merchandise
* Clean kitchen areas, crockery, cutlery, and public spaces
* Report feedback, complaints, or hazards to the Catering Manager
* Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
* Complete daily paperwork and maintain diligent records
Requirements
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* No prior experience required - full training provided
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable, but not essential)
* Enhanced DBS clearance (required)
