Job Overview
Lancaster & Morecambe College are seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Care and T Level Health to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment. The role will ensure excellent learning experiences and high achievement for all students.
Responsibilities
Teach and assess healthcare related subject areas including person‑centred care, reflection, clinical practice, assisting with overall care needs, clinical and therapeutic tasks, activities supporting daily living, physiological illness and meeting individual needs.
Support development of practical skills in the health training ward, such as manual handling, providing nutrition and risk assessment screening tools.
Deliver courses from Level 2 to Level 3 in Health and Social Care and T Level Health, acting as a course manager for specific groups.
Provide support and mentoring to new teachers, where needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant recent vocational experience in the health & social care sector.
Teacher qualified or willing to undertake teacher training. Support and mentoring available.
