 
        
        We are The Perfume Shop, a leading retailer specialising in fine fragrances committed to creating a welcoming and professional environment for both customers and staff. We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Store Manager to lead the operations at our Belfast store.
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time – 37.5 hours per week – Salary: £30,931 per annum.
Responsibilities
 * Motivate, develop and support a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve key performance targets.
 * Deliver the store’s daily, weekly and yearly sales, service, profit & loss targets.
 * Review store performance, identify challenges and implement action plans.
 * Ensure the store is opened and closed on time, adhering to all security procedures; manage key holder responsibilities.
 * Prepare and issue store rosters and inventory management plans.
 * Maintain stock accuracy, minimise loss and oversee stock replenishment.
 * Coach and mentor staff through regular 1:1 meetings, performance monitoring and recognition of achievements.
 * Recruit talent, fostering a high‑performing team that drives store success.
What You’ll Bring
 * Prior management experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, ideally as an assistant or store manager.
 * Strong teamwork and coaching skills with a proven ability to deliver high standards and results.
 * A strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach to day‑to‑day store operations.
 * Exceptional customer service orientation and enthusiasm for perfume.
 * Commercial awareness, including KPIs such as sales, service, profit & loss.
 * Flexibility to adapt to changing work patterns.
