Estimating Manager

Reporting to the Director of Rail, the Estimating Manager will ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates for new projects, collaborating closely with project management and engineering teams. This is a hybrid role, with occasional presence at our Warwick Head Office.
What you’ll do:
* Support the production and submission of accurate, comprehensive estimates for projects
* Manage the estimating process at bid, project, or scheme level
* Challenge costs estimates produced by SMEs in Delivery and Engineering
* Review project specifications and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates
* Minimize selling costs and response times using standard processes and tools
* Present detailed cost breakdowns and proposals at reviews
* Collaborate with project teams to develop plans and schedules
* Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information
Who you are:
You have proven experience in a similar estimating role, with strong cost modelling and analysis skills. As an expert in Excel, you combine technical proficiency with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in Transport, Utilities, Telecoms, Construction, or similar industries
