A day in the life of…
As Group Sales and Reservations Executive, your role will be to convert bookings and generate leads resulting in revenue growth within the business and support the delivery of the commercial strategy.
You will also be responsible for:
* Taking Group enquiries for Corporate & Leisure business
* Quoting for group business along side the Revenue Manager
* Ensuring all details on contracts & pro - forma's are completed
* Manage mulitple properties & prioritising work load
* Liasing with the on property team to ensure guests requirements are met
* Identifying any new leads and contacts, working with the Sales teams in driving engagement for lead generation
* Responding to sales opportunities to drive revenue growth. Performing general office duties and administrative tasks where needed.
* Preparing weekly/ monthly reports as required.
To be successful in his role you will have previous experience working in a Sales/reservations team, preferably in the hospitality industry. An excellent telephone manner and strong IT skills are paramount to ensure success within this role. You will be committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and be able to respond and thrive within a fast-paced environment.
This role is based within the Central Reservations Office at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, Manchester.
