The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the clinical service, participate in on‑call duties and will have experience at the level of ST4 onwards.
The post is based at Leeds General Infirmary and will be a fixed‑term appointment from 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2027, with a possible renewal for an additional six months.
The department has approximately 65 adult beds, a dedicated Neuro‑Intensive Care Unit, a High Dependency Unit, and three operating theatres. Separate beds and intensive care facilities are available for paediatric neurology and neurosurgery.
We offer an undergraduate and postgraduate educational programme that includes weekly journal clubs, case presentations, academic rounds and monthly audit meetings.
The department works closely with neuro‑radiology and has advanced imaging facilities including CT, MRI, digital subtraction angiography and CT angiography.
There is a comprehensive paediatric neuroscience services network and access to a rich library and university resources.
