SME Sales Consultant at AXA Health

It’s an exciting time at AXA Health. We’re looking for an SME Sales Consultant to join our highly successful SME broker new business sales team on a permanent basis. In this role you’ll help grow the relationship between AXA Health and key intermediaries, selling our core product range through brokers to the SME PMI market, ensuring profitable growth and establishing professional relationships with all intermediary personnel.

We work smart and empower our people to balance home and office time. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home now, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future.


What you’ll be doing

* Working closely with your broker panel to ensure the achievement of the new business target, through regular dialogue, building relationships with the Intermediary Relationship Manager and chasing every opportunity to maximise results.
* Delivering exceptional service to your brokers in relation to call handling, ensuring all monthly call targets are met and prioritising new business chasing calls to deliver sales targets.
* Demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of existing products, including bespoke team products, core PMI products, non‑PMI products and various pricing mechanisms used when pricing all PMI group schemes.


What you’ll bring

* The ability to take a proactive approach to sales and developing broker relationships, and making the most of every sales opportunity.
* Strong communication skills at all levels with internal and external customers.
* Excellent organisation, time‑management and the ability to work under pressure.
* Current knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues and experience working in a regulated industry.
* Target‑driven with a goal‑focused approach.
* Experience working with business processes and protocols.
* PMI knowledge is highly beneficial.
* PC competency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
