Job Description:
Pharma client based in Dublin is looking to hire a Senior Medical Information Writer/Manager or Medical Information Specialist.
This is a 6-month initial contract with a high likelihood of extension.
Day rate: approximately €400+ per day if based in Ireland, or £300-£350+ per day if working remotely from the UK. Flexibility depends on expertise and experience.
Remote or hybrid work options are available. We seek candidates based in Ireland or UK. No sponsorship provided.
There are 2 vacancies: one for a Senior MI Specialist / Manager and another for an MI Specialist with fluent German. Both roles involve handling high-level, complex global medical inquiries escalated to the team.
This role involves providing expertise in specific therapeutic areas to support complex medical inquiries, delivering high-quality responses, reviewing materials, developing digital content, optimizing processes, managing inquiries at medical congresses, and reporting metrics.
Major Accountabilities:
* Respond to escalated medical inquiries promptly and accurately
* Review and write MI deliverables to meet quality standards
* Contribute to process and standard improvements for efficiency
* Generate reports on inquiry metrics and insights
* Support congress medical information services
* Assist regional or country MI teams
Qualifications:
* Healthcare professional degree or related field
* Advanced degrees (PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred
* Fluent in English; European language skills are a plus
Experience/Requirements:
* At least 3 years in medical information or communications within pharma or medical affairs
* Knowledge of therapeutic areas
* Experience managing escalated medical inquiries
* Reviewing medical/clinical content and providing feedback
* Proficiency with medical information resources
* Understanding of medical concepts relevant to pharma
* Client-focused with collaboration skills
* Innovative problem-solving skills
