The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality performing arts education to students, fostering both their creative and academic development. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging performing arts lessons in line with the curriculum. Direct and produce school performances and encourage student participation in external competitions and festivals. Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to promote their artistic growth. Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate performing arts into the broader educational program. Maintain a positive, creative, and safe learning environment for all students. Participate in departmental meetings, school training, and development sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience in teaching performing arts in a secondary school setting. Strong background in drama, dance, music, or a related field. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
