Sales Manager – Fire & Security
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 basic + £7K car allowance
Package: c.£25K 1st Year OTE uncapped (£100k+ achievable)
Location: Home Based - South of England (regional remit across the South)
Type of work: Full-time, field-based with regional travel

Our client is seeking a high-energy, new business-focused Sales Manager to drive the growth of their Fire & Security division across the southern region. This role is about creating opportunity, not inheriting it – building a strong pipeline, winning new clients, and converting installation projects into long-term maintenance and recurring revenue.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has proven themselves within an SME Fire & Security business and is comfortable operating at pace, without layers of bureaucracy. You’ll be trusted to represent the business externally, shape market perception in the region, and position modern, IP-led platforms such as Genetec with credibility and confidence.
Job Description
Drive proactive new business development across the southern region
Build and manage a pipeline across FM providers, public sector, corporate estates and specialist verticals
Win installation projects typically in the £40k–£100k range and convert these into long-term maintenance contracts
Grow the contracted maintenance base, recurring revenue, and profitable small works
Promote IP-based Fire & Security solutions, including Genetec and comparable platforms
Represent the business at client meetings, site visits, presentations and industry events
Develop and strengthen supplier, technology and referral partnerships
Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting
Provide regular insight on performance, market trends and sector feedback
Person Specification
Essential
Proven background in Fire and Security sector
Strong IP knowledge with the ability to discuss platforms such as Genetec credibly
Experience within an SME Fire & Security provider, operating with pace and autonomy
Demonstrable success in new business acquisition, not just managing existing accounts
Track record of growing maintenance and contract portfolios, alongside installations
Comfortable targeting and winning work within FM, corporate or specialist environments
Commercially astute, confident, resilient and self-managing
Desirable
Existing network across FM providers, public sector, utilities, transport or complex estates
Experience securing frameworks, PSLs or long-term service contracts

Package includes:
