11 months contract with a local authority Summary The Estate Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-quality cleaning and caretaking services across multiple estates in South West London. This role involves managing a team of 12 cleaners (both mobile and static) and 1 caretaker, ensuring all sites are maintained to excellent standards. The manager will ensure operational tasks are completed safely and service performance meets organisational expectations. The postholder will work on-site across allocated estates, using a company-provided van to support mobility between locations. Responsibilities Manage, supervise, and support a team of 12 cleaners (mobile and static) and 1 caretaker. Plan and allocate daily tasks, cleaning schedules, and site priorities. Conduct regular site visits, quality checks, and performance reviews. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure high standards of service delivery. Essential Experience Required Proven experience managing cleaning teams, caretakers, or estates/facilities staff. Experience overseeing multi-site operations or mobile teams. Strong working knowledge of cleaning standards, site inspections, and operational procedures. Essential Qualifications Required Full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
