Location: Borehamwood (Hybrid after probation - 2 days in the office)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: £35,500 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a busy procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting the Facilities & Maintenance category, you will work closely with the Category Manager to deliver value, quality, and efficiency across a diverse spend portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to further develop their experience within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
·Support procurement activities across Facilities & Maintenance categories.
·Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
·Support tendering activities, including ITT and RFI documentation.
·Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings.
·Monitor contract renewals and maintain procurement records.
·Support procurement projects from specification through to contract award.
·Maintain supplier, contract, and catalogue data within ERP systems.
·Track and report procurement savings and performance improvements.

Skills & Experience
·Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role.
·Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills.
·Experience with tendering processes, including ITTs and RFIs.
·Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
·Experience using ERP systems and eProcurement platforms.
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
·Experience within facilities management, indirect procurement, or healthcare environments would be advantageous.

Additional Information
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with occasional travel to other locations as required. Please note successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check upon offer.
