We’re looking for an organised and proactive Operations Manager to support our Delivery Leadership Team to help drive performance across the business. Key Responsibilities
* Support in nurturing a collaborative and inclusive company culture promoting the ENGAGED values and behaviours
* Champion health, safety and wellbeing, promoting a proactive, high standards approach across the business
* Work with the Delivery Leadership team to develop and grow our field capability and capacity achieving efficient operations
* Implement and maintain operational systems, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and business performance
* Support with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and identification of efficiency opportunities
* Manage resourcing, monitoring, utilisation and capacity – proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks and actioning mitigation
* Lead and support day-to-day operations, fostering a well-coordinated, inclusive and high-performing environment
Skills & Experience
The role is suitable for candidates with a background in Civil Engineering, Construction, Water & Environmental Management, or a related asset creation sector. You should be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and knowledge:
* A higher qualification and professional registration in project management, general management, construction, engineering or a related discipline
* Proven experience operating in a senior operational role, with a track record of leading and developing large teams
* Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent attention to detail
* An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proven experience across the full capital delivery lifecycle and variety of technical disciplines
* Experience of financial planning and business strategy, including bids and pursuits, with strong knowledge of contract performance, risk and change management, and a demonstrable ability to improve performance against ‘as sold’ metrics
