We are currently working on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business to recruit a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced finance team, with a high likelihood of the role transitioning into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
* Matching, batching, and coding invoices.
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
* Assisting with payment runs.
* Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.
About You:
* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts assistant role.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* Confident using accounting systems and Excel.
