You will promote MECC across the Trust sites, working closely with clinicians and partners to continue the delivery and promotion of the project. Continue to work with colleagues and delivery partners across the Integrated Care System (ICS) to promote MECC conversations and place patient well-being at the heart of our approach.

Key responsibilities include:

* Develop and establish the MECC approach across the Trust and community settings, in collaboration with our ICB and community partners.
* Engage and enable colleagues to undertake MECC conversations.
* Support, facilitate, promote, monitor and improve progress of the MECC project outputs and outcomes.
* Promote the MECC and Quality improvement (QI) approaches by supporting developing Health Inequality and Trust projects to adopt MECC principles.

ESNEFT Employees will be offered on a secondment basis.

Further responsibilities include:

* Work with the Clinical Leads, partner organisations and other key stakeholders to drive forward the delivery of MECC.
* Actively encourage, train and support clinical teams to have MECC conversations with patients across clinical settings.
* Network and liaise with health professionals and others within the Trust, providing specialist knowledge and expertise around MECC.
* Back up operational activities with robust project documentation, ensuring all aspects of project management best practices are met.
* Support and attend the Trust’s Inequalities Steering Group by providing progress updates on the MECC project.

We are ESNEFT and we provide hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex. Our dedicated staff deliver care from acute hospitals in Colchester and Ipswich, community hospitals, surgeries, community clinics and in patients’ own homes.

We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as flexible working options. Along with supporting you to achieve your career goals we offer a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments (where applicable), 27 days annual leave on commencement (pro rata) and access to a range of NHS discounts.

If you are passionate about patient care and want to develop your skills and knowledge, then we want to hear from you.
