What's the opportunity?
This is a truly rare opportunity for a commercially-minded, growth-driven senior manager or director in corporate finance to take ownership of their own service line within a highly successful and ambitious firm.
This is not a conventional corporate finance role - we are looking for someone entrepreneurial, confident in their ability to win work, and eager to shape their own future, with the reassurance of a salary and the real ability to generate significant personal reward. The firm's existing partner group is actively invested in the success of this service line and will be supporting its launch with direct client referrals and introductions from their own networks.
The business is well known for its track record of scaling teams and service lines and is now seeking an individual who thrives on building, leading and delivering.
What will you be doing?
1. Leading the development of a corporate finance offering from the ground up, with full autonomy and support
2. Delivering on M&A, disposals, fundraising and related advisory projects
3. Working closely with the wider advisory and tax teams to cross-sell services and drive opportunity
4. Building and leading a team as the service line grows
5. Representing the firm in the market and playing a key role in strategic networking
6. Working directly with the partners, who are active in client generation and business development
What do you need?
7. Significant experience in corporate finance - deal execution, origination, and relationship management
8. A strong network and the ability to confidently engage with clients and intermediaries
9. A commercial mindset - this role suits someone who is not risk averse and wants more than a conventional salaried role
10. Proven ability to lead and inspire - someone who can build and scale a team
11. An entrepreneurial approach with the credibility and professionalism to represent a leading firm in the market
