The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, seasonal dishes that showcase fresh, local produce. You'll play a key role in maintaining kitchen standards, supporting junior team members, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the Head Chef with service, prep, and menu development
Helping to lead and motivate the kitchen team
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
Assisting with stock control and ordering
Contributing ideas and creativity to a regularly changing menu
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a good quality fresh food kitchen
A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
