As the Group Recruitment Manager for Firmdale Hotels, you will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle across all properties within the UK. You will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
Working closely with department heads and the HR team, you will ensure that recruitment aligns with the companys business objectives and brand values.
You will champion the brand as an employer of choice, leading brand initiatives, cultivating external partnerships, and ensuring every candidate interaction is seamless and engaging.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment & Strategy
* Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy across all properties, to meet hiring needs
* Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on best recruitment practices
* Manage all early career recruitment activities including ownership of the annual graduate intake
* Build long-term talent pipelines through relationships with universities, agencies, and industry partners
* Benchmark against industry trends and use data insight to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness and report on performance
* Manage recruitment budgets effectively
Employer Brand & Attraction
* Own Firmdales positioning as an employer of choice, driving attraction strategies across the digital space, careers fairs, and industry events
* Champion diversity and inclusion in hiring, ensuring all processes are fair, consistent, and equitable
* Oversee the candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects the Firmdale brand
* Monitor and maintain information online to ensure accuracy
Operational Recruitment & Systems
* Own all recruitment systems including the ATS, ensuring they are fully utilised and fit for purpose
* Ensure all recruitment processes are efficient, compliant, and consistently applied across the group
* Manage sponsorship applications and ongoing compliance, providing advice and support to sponsored employees and the business
* Collaborate with HR and operational teams on onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging start for every new hire
* Stay abreast of employment legislation and recruitment regulations, ensuring all practices remain compliant and up to date
* Always looking for opportunities to improve
Experience
* Proven experience in a senior in‑house recruitment role, ideally within hospitality or a multi‑site environment
* Track record of building and executing employer brand and attraction strategies
* Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment tech
