An independent veterinary practice based in Cardonald, Glasgow

Be part of a small team of 9 veterinary professionals

Working Hours

37 hours per week (compressed hour) 4 days per week with a rota day off.

08:00-18:00 with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 08:30-12:30

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Receptionist/Administrator at Naismith Vets in Glasgow. The role will involve client and animal care at the reception desk, appointment scheduling, client education, phone etiquette, and internal team communications.

Daily Routine

* Appointment Scheduling via veterinary software system
* Telephone and Outlook Email enquiries
* Account invoicing and daily balancing of the till
* Rota changes and appointment management
* Client Education and Communication
* Liaising with the veterinary and nursing team regarding animal care

Qualifications

* National 5 qualifications with English and Admin/Business
* HND or HNC Certificate

Holidays

6 weeks holiday which is inclusive of public holidays with an additional day to recognise your birthday.

Dependant on qualifications and experience
