Selly Oak Vets for Pets values its staff as much as its patients, and we’re excited to welcome an enthusiastic individual to join us as Part-Time Client Care Advisor.

What your typical day will look like:

1. Provide exceptional service to clients and the best possible care to their pets, acting as a vital link between clients and the clinical team.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team to ensure a positive and trusting experience.
3. Deliver outstanding client service during visits, ensuring clients leave feeling valued and confident, and look forward to their next appointment.
4. Greet clients warmly, offer support and guidance, and manage payments and future bookings efficiently.
5. Coordinate the smooth running of day-to-day practice routines using our online booking system; strong computer literacy is essential

This is a Part-Time role working between 25 to 30 hour per week.

The attributes required:

6. Previous experience in the veterinary industry or a customer care role is preferred.
7. Be the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
8. Provide guidance and support to clients by staying fully up to date with all practice services and additional offerings.
9. Maintain a calm, attentive approach, always focusing on the clients’ needs.
10. Bring enthusiasm and drive to your role, combining a passion for exceptional service with a love of pets.
11. Handle a variety of situations with professionalism—from comforting a client receiving difficult news to celebrating the excitement of a puppy’s first visit.
12. Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere, creating a positive experience for clients alongside your colleague
