This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to join an established health and safety team renowned for their outstanding track record in delivering projects. Youll play a pivotal role, focusing on one of the organisations frameworks in Suffolk. Experience with highways is desirable but not essential; this organisation is also interested in considering more junior individuals which are interested in growing and developing within an organisation. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include: Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation Visiting site and engaging with managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquires Conducting audits, inspections, and accident Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance Engaging with the client and other external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have: Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, Highways or Civil Hold a NEBOSH Certificate and ideally a member of IOSH Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders This position will require a self-starter who can lead by example and hit the ground running.
