Business Development Executive opportunity
Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in the Commercial Vehicle Industry? We're looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales, revenue, and profit growth through new business opportunities. Please note this is a fully office-based role.
Business Development Executive duties
1. Research key business sectors and analyse data to develop strategic sales plans.
2. Utilize online marketing and social media to generate leads and attract new business.
3. Identify and target SMEs for contract hire and related opportunities.
4. Develop and execute a New Business Development Plan with clear goals and milestones.
5. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining profit margins.
6. Maintain an up-to-date CRM system and manage a database of prospects.
7. Provide accurate sales reports and updates to senior management.
8. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
9. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and reporting requirements.
Business Development Executive experience required
1. In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle acquisition methods (rental, contract hire, leasing, etc.) would be highly beneficial.
2. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within the HGV / LCV sector.
3. Strong consultative sales approach with a solutions-focused mindset.
4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and identify opportunities.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling proposals.
6. Proven track record in sales, with the ability to negotiate and build lasting relationships.
7. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
