Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Combi Operator/Loader to join a manufacturing facility based in Henstridge. The facility specialises in producing high-quality steel products for a variety of industries, and they are looking for a diligent individual to join their team.
Key Duties:
Pick and collate steel to order and prepare it for loading onto lorries.
Identify and locate different products.
Use measuring equipment to ensure that the correct quantities are picked and sorted for each order.
Replenish stock and keep track of inventory.
Batch and allocate steel, making sure that it is organised and ready for shipment.
Requirements:
Good eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with heavy machinery.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
Ideally, previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with different types of steel and their uses (training will be provided for the right candidate).
