About the RoleWe are looking for a Project Manager to join the Civil Works Programme and lead the successful delivery of complex civil engineering scopes, focused specifically on technical galleries. The role involves managing engineering, procurement, and manufacturing workstreams to ensure the timely delivery of key contracts valued up to £500m.You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting the final investment decision and transition into the delivery phase. This is an opportunity to work closely with the Responsible Designer, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders, while applying lessons learnt from Hinkley Point C and driving intelligent replication at Sizewell C. Key ResponsibilitiesManage engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with project needs and replication strategiesSupport contract development, procurement, and technical specification preparationDrive SZC-specific design changes into deliverables and contract documentsCoordinate internal and external interfaces across contract and systems scopesLead engagement with suppliers and regulators to identify risks to deliveryDevelop project execution plans, defining scope, budget, and schedule requirementsEnsure delivery of contracts meets business, safety, quality, and technical standardsSupport contract award preparation and transition into construction Required Skills & ExperienceEssential:Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience within civil or nuclear sectorsStrong technical understanding of complex buildings and associated regulationsProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage key project interfacesExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsDegree qualified in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related disciplineDesirable:Experience delivering within a regulated, high-complexity environmentKnowledge of nuclear design, procurement, or construction processesExperience with Primavera P6 or PRINCE2 methodologyChartered Engineer or Chartered Project Manager Team & CultureYou’ll report to the Senior Project Manager and be part of a growing and supportive team that includes fellow Project Managers, an Apprentice, and a new Assistant Project Manager joining soon.
