Job Title: Geoenvironmental Engineer

Salary: GBP28,000 : GBP32,000
A new opportunity has opened for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a well:established environmental and geotechnical consultancy based in Bath. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of contaminated land and ground investigation projects, with a strong focus on professional development and technical progression.
The successful Geoenvironmental Engineer will be involved in both site:based and office:based work, supporting the delivery of environmental assessments and remediation projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes.
You will have the opportunity to work for an established consultancy who have a large presence in the civil, structural and environmental industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations
* Soil and groundwater sampling and environmental monitoring
* Factual and interpretative report writing
* Contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies
* Supervising site works and liaising with contractors
* Supporting project delivery from tender through to completion
Requirements
* Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related subject
* Experience within a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role
* Understanding of contaminated land legislation and risk assessment
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
