The role
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
1. Relevant finance qualification or study
Degree in Accounting/Finance, AAT qualified or currently studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent experience)
2. Finance experience
Experience in a Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or similar role, with exposure to transactional finance and/or month-end processes.
3. Core accounting tasks
Experience of accounting tasks including but not limited to: bank reconciliations; accounts payable; accounts receivable; journal postings; balance sheet reconciliations
4. Systems
Experience using accounting software (eg Sage or similar) and Excel
5. Organisation and accuracy
Evidence of managing multiple tasks with strong attention to details (eg meeting deadlines, handling high volumes of data or transactions accurately).

6. Experience in media, TV production or a similar fast-paced industry
7. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
8. A proactive approach with a demonstrable ability to spot issues and suggest improvements
9. A team player who can also work independently and stay focused on prioritising / delivering
10. Confidence working in a deadline-driven, changing environment
