What You’ll Do Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create cost-effective and efficient designs Manage the project design budget and timeline Work closely with the client team liaising on multiple projects Maintain effective communication with the customer on all agreed actions to ensure that any issues are resolved to their satisfaction. Lead design team meetings & provide regular updates to senior management on project progress. Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and industry regulations. Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Implement & maintain quality control procedures throughout the design & construction process. What We’re Looking For Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Design Manager for a main contractor. Experience of working within the construction industry, specifically on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects. A good knowledge of current CDM and Building Regulations, Experience of managing document management systems.
