At Amplius, we're looking for an Estates Maintenance Operative to join the team. If you love working with your hands, being outdoors, and making communities look their best, we'd love to hear from you
Salary: £25,707 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday)
Location: Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
What you'll be doing
* Carry out mowing, hedge cutting, pruning, and weed control in communal areas.
* Maintain and upkeep tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient use.
* Identify and report any issues or concerns within communal areas.
* Keep accurate daily records of completed tasks and report via an electronic tablet.
* Ensure communal areas are maintained to a high standard using a range of grounds maintenance skills.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in general grounds maintenance, including mowing, hedge cutting, and pruning in a commercial setting.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver a customer-focused service.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Skilled and competent in all aspects of grounds maintenance work.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Capable of completing daily administrative tasks and using tablets for remote working.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including employer and employee obligations.
