Role & Responsibilities
* Product Design and development of medical devices from concept to market release
* Create parametrically editable 3D models of legacy products
* Provide engineering requirements for ECOs
* Communicate technical information (verbal/written) underpinned with engineering principles and evidence in a clear and concise manner (GDP)
* Carry out design updates for any design changes as part of the change management process
* Verification and validation of components and assemblies (ISIR and appropriate testing as required)
* Record all formal and relevant informal engineering information in the PLM system
* Modification/amendment of new/existing drawings in accordance with design standards
* Other reasonable duties which may be requested by the manager from time to time
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Problem solving techniques (e.g., DFMEA / Risk Analysis)
* Experience in compilation of usability engineering files
* Open to candidates with a manufacturing background
* Experience working as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing environment
* A degree qualified person with 1-2 years of design experience is a perfect fit for this role
