SEMH Teaching Assistant – Chichester
Prospero Teaching have a great opportunity available for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in this exceptional school in Chichester.
You will be able to liase with fantastic practitioners, who will guide you and support you as you support the school’s pupils effectively and professionally.
The Role:
1. SEMH Teaching Assistant role
2. Chichester based school – own transport is desirable
3. Ideal role for Psychology graduates, or those experienced in working with Mental Health & SEN
4. SEMH Teaching Assistant role – £75 per day MINIMUM
5. SEMH Teaching Assistant role – Full time/long term position
6. Start date ASAP

You’ll be supported in your role as an SEMH Teaching Assistant, by a fantastic senior leadership team. Working with some gifted and charismatic pupils, you’ll find this role one that rewards you.
Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
You must have a degree of 2:1 or higher and have at least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people
Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Provide two professional child related references.
