JMW Admin Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and practical administrator to join our professional and friendly team of carpenters and builders based in Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon.

Role Overview
You will be the first point of contact for new enquiries, customer queries, suppliers and subcontractors — answering the telephone, responding to emails and arranging orders.
You will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service with a personalised approach, ensuring the customer is always at the heart of what we do.
Responsibilities will include:
* Updating and monitoring the company diary for all activities
* Keeping track of enquiries via our social channels.
* Liaising with the team to book deliveries of materials required for projects.
* Managing invoices, purchase orders and expenses, ensuring these are allocated to the correct jobs.
* Using Xero to maintain accurate financial records, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, supplier payments and expense tracking.
* Supporting bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate cash flow management and assisting with preparation for quarterly and annual accounts.
* Working alongside our social media manager to help raise the profile of JMW.
* Any other reasonable administrative duties as required.
Role Requirements
* Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
* Previous experience with customer service, inbound and outbound client contact.
* Experience with Xero (or similar accounting software) and bookkeeping tasks such as reconciliations, invoice management and expense tracking.
* Strong time management with an ability to multitask and work on your own initiative in a busy environment.
* Attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
* Ability to deal professionally, calmly and tactfully with customers and maintain strict confidentiality at all times, especially with vulnerable customers and suppliers.
* Good working knowledge of online systems and Office 365 (full training provided).
* Based local to Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon.
Job Type
Permanent – 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for more hours as the business grows.
Working Hours
Core hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 17:00pm. The role is office based.
Benefits
* 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
* Pay: £13.50 – £15/hour depending on experience.
