Job Title: Sessional Employability Tutor

Salary: Up to £31.24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality employability teaching and coaching to unemployed learners referred by the DWP, primarily through SWAP employability courses.
* Recruit, plan, and deliver employability units, maintain regular contact to monitor progress, and ensure each learner receives meaningful, tailored support.
* Manage assessment activities, track achievement, maintain accurate records, and complete associated administrative tasks.
* Develop and maintain high‑quality learning resources and actively support learners to progress into employment, self‑employment, apprenticeships or further study.
Qualifications and Experience
* A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one, together with a relevant subject qualification, is essential.
* Strong experience working with diverse and often vulnerable learners, with the ability to motivate, inspire and engage.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
