Key Responsibilities * Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review care plans, ensuring they are followed correctly and tailored to the service user's specific requirements. * Medication Management: Administer medication to service users in accordance with care plans, policies, and procedures. * Health Monitoring: Monitor and record vital signs, observations, and the general progress of service users, reporting any changes to appropriate healthcare professionals. * Communication: Liaise with families, GPs, and other health professionals, providing updates on the service user's progress and building positive relationships. * Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of daily activities, care provided, and observations in line with organizational policies. * Quality Assurance: Ensure that high standards of care are delivered and maintained, conducting quality checks on care assistants. * Training & Mentoring: Participate in the training and induction of new staff members, sharing best practices and skills. * Staff Supervision & Support: Oversee and mentor a team of care assistants, providing guidance, support, and professional development. * Client Care: Provide direct personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, feeding, and mobili...
