Do you have a passion and appetite for evolution? Come and join us! Who will you be working with? The Pre-Sales Technician is the primary technical resource for the sales force. Pre-sales technical are responsible for actively driving and managing the solution evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team to qualify project requirements meet Baxi solutions portfolio. On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for, but not limited to : Deliver detailed project requirements to allow solution designers to produce detailed solution designs utilizing Baxi renewables and fossil fuel technologies. Building close working relationships with external sales teams and their customers, to determine the clients project goals and on-going operational needs. Working from opportunities generated by the Commercial Sales Teams. Ensuring customer requirements can be met by Baxi Solutions, and seamless transition to a detailed design in a timely manner in-line with the departments set SLA’s and to meet the customers project timelines. Compile and produce the Opportunity Quotation Specification and management of the CRM system to ensure that all opportunities are correctly entered and available for the Specificier and Sales Team to manage through quotation stages. Assist system designers to complete detailed design on time to meet the teams SLA’s The generation of standardised heating schematics for Commercial Heating and Hot Water systems for specifiers, consultants and Design and Build Contractors. Provide system detailed product lists to meet specific solutions assisting the installer/contractor with legislative compliance in-line with the departments SLA’s. To support a follow up design service, including provision of handover documentation and performance details relative to the system design. About you: We want to make sure you’re set up for success in our mission. To be successful in your application you’ll need to have experience; Ideally educated to BTEC level in building services. A fundamental understanding within the HVAC industry Experience of Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD Experience with CRM Systems Experience with using M3 Business management software A fundamental understanding of the 18th Edition Installation and Wiring Regulations Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels both within and external to the organisation Highly numerate to analyze and communicate effectively You will have demonstrable experience in Mechanical and Electrical building services within commercial properties. An appreciation for renewable technologies with a knowledge of ASHP heating systems and requirements for transitioning from fossil fuel solutions. Understanding of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations and F-Gas You will have a natural collaborative working style, nurturing both internal and external key relationships to drive high quality deliverables What we offer: Our package is made up of basic salary plus a variable incentive.
