Paint Polisher - Birmingham Hours: Full-Time Shift: Night Shift - 10:00pm to 6:00am Pay: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour DOE About the Role We are recruiting an experienced Paint Polisher to join a fast-paced automotive and plastics manufacturing environment in Birmingham. This role focuses on preparing and finishing painted components to the highest standard, ensuring all products meet strict quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Polishing painted automotive or plastic components to a high-quality finish. Performing de-nibbing, sanding, flatting, buffing, and machine polishing. Inspecting surfaces for paint defects, imperfections, or contamination and correcting them. Collaborating with the Paint Technicians to maintain consistent finishing standards. Achieving production targets while ensuring excellent attention to detail. Maintaining tools, polishing equipment, and a clean working environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Paint Polisher is essential. Background in automotive, manufacturing, or plastic injection moulding environments is highly desirable. Strong eye for detail with a passion for delivering high-quality surface finishes. Ability to work independently during night shifts in a busy production setting.
