About the role
1. Ensure all Crews are de-briefed fully at the end of day ensuring all issues are dealt with.
2. Ensuring that JDE is updated accurately and all the deliveries have been processed.
3. Update customer delivery details with the correct information when required
4. Deal with incoming phone calls regarding delivery issues.
5. Provide support to the Transport Controllers to assist with the day to day delivery of goods.
6. Deal with ad-hoc collection and courier requests, ensure that the courier tracker is kept up to date.
7. Assist with the controlling of the fleet on the road and deal with any breakdown issues
8. Ensure drivers full time and agency download their driver digi-cards and down load the vehicles
9. Administer all PPE keeping records upto date
10. Note Taker for Meetings
11. Any other duties as reasonable requested
About you
This is an excellent position for someone wanting to start their career within Transport. If you have administrative experience then great, however as this is an entry level position then we will consider those without. You must be able to demonstrate strong communicative skills, be competently numberate, and have strong Computer skills.
