Who are we looking for?
* Engagement Skills: Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions, bringing fresh ideas and creativity.
* Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives.
* Academic Background: Degree in a relevant teaching subject, or equivalent for SEN (desirable).
* Core Qualifications: Teaching qualification in QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards it. Specialist teaching qualification (desirable).
* Experience: Experience in a school environment, particularly secondary school experience is an advantage.
* Teaching Subjects: Proficiency in English, Maths, and Science with a minimum of grade 4/C or higher.
* Knowledge: Understanding of alternative provision and students with special needs.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions.
* Communication: Professional communication with students and staff.

About the School:
Progress Schools is part of The Progress Group, which comprises six units dedicated to high-quality education and training. Progress Schools is a national group of 13 OFSTED-regulated independent schools.
At Progress Schools Thrapston, we support approximately 35 pupils to provide a nurturing, encouraging environment, especially for those reintegrating into mainstream settings. The school includes a Head of School, Deputy Head, five teachers, and support staff, with additional regional and national support.
